Where learning is child's play
How it works
Every school day, our teachers will fetch the children from neighboring schools and take attendance. We ensure that all students are present before leaving for the centre together. If your child takes a bus to the centre, we ensure that at least one teacher is present to pick your child up from the bus stop.
A typical day at Edulearn...
Once your child reaches the centre, we separate the boys and the girls and they take turns to freshen up in the showers and change out of their uniforms. Then, we serve them freshly prepared lunch. The menu varies from homely meals such as porridge to delicious spaghetti and mac & cheese. The rest of the day involves doing homework (which will be checked by our teachers), learning and preparing for spelling (both English & Mother Tongue) and play time where children are free to socialize with each other, play Board games, read from our wide selection of books, and on occasion our teachers will bring them outdoors for more physical games.
We also have pre-planned activities and learning journeys to encourage the children to explore learning outside of school.
Our student care teachers
Our teachers have a passion for helping children. They make sure to connect with both parents and their children to have a stronger understanding of each child's personality. They nurture and instill discipline in our children, most of whom have stayed with us throughout their primary school journey. Some of them even stayed on through lower Secondary. While our teachers help our students when they need it, they also try to train them to be independent. We believe in advising our children rather than spoon-feeding them solutions. As they say "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime". The children not only learn academically, they cultivate discipline and good learning habits. The accumulation of knowledge and skills your child gains during their time at EduLearn will surely serve them for years to come.
